When you're a Global teen, connecting with your delegation and fellow global ambassadors before going to IC is essential. IC brings together about 4,000 teens, mostly from America, so for global teens, forming a close-knit group is important.

This year was my first IC, and I was advised by many others that it’s easy to feel lost. Although it wasn’t IC yet, the sheer number of people made it feel overwhelming.

Finding a Global family during Global Ambassadors Week quickly became comforting. While meeting new people was exciting, seeing familiar faces from the days before was reassuring.

By the end of GAW, it felt like everyone had found their new family. Now, at IC, with so many new faces, it’s much easier to approach new friends, knowing you have the support of your global family behind you. That support makes all the difference in navigating the IC experience.
