Toronto is a unique place. It is a melting pot of various cultures, ethnicities, and races, with individuals migrating from all over the world to find a home in this safe haven. As a Torontonian who was born and raised in this wonderful city, I am well equipped to share some insight on the places and things you must see and experience when visiting Toronto. Travelling can be extremely overwhelming if you are not prepared, so here are the top 5 things to do when in Toronto!

1. Visit the CN Tower

Not only is the CN Tower an extremely famous Canadian Landmark, but it also a very fun experience for the whole family! There are various activities to partake in at the tower, such as participating in the Sky Walk, tiptoeing across the notorious glass floor, and eating at the pricey, but delicious, CN Tower 360 Restaurant. With all of these attractions at the CN Tower, it is no surprise that this is Toronto’s most well-known spot, as well as one of my personal favorites.

2. Visit Ripley’s Aquarium

If you love the ocean and have a secret admiration for aquatic life, then you will love Ripley’s Aquarium. This is your go-to spot for gaining new information and discovering new things about the underwater world. The experience you will have at Ripley’s aquarium will be like none other, making this one of my must-go spots when visiting Toronto.

3. Take A Trip To The Scarborough Bluffs

Do you love a good photo opportunity? Do you live for those insta worthy moments? If so, you should take a trip up to the Scarborough Bluffs for some beautiful scenery that’s sure to make the best background for any picture. Not only can you take amazing photos here, but you can take a stroll across the beach and hike some challenging trails.

4. Adventure Off To Canada’s Wonderland

If you love to get your adrenaline pumping and consider yourself a rollercoaster junky, then you will definitely want to take a trip to Canada’s most well-known theme park, Canada’s Wonderland. Here, experience the magic of a day well spent as you ride all your favorite rides, and devour only the greasiest, most unhealthy carnival foods. Just be sure not to eat too much! We don’t want any incidents on the rides!

5. Take A Stroll Down The Harbourfront

Whether you're in the mood to take a quick jaunt down the boardwalk, or to grab some delicious grub, the Toronto Harbourfront is the right place for you! This is another awesome place to take insta worthy photos, and you're destined to make some awesome memories while you're at it! The Harbourfront is one of my personal favourites, and is my go-to activity on those days that you just don’t know what else to do!
