On the last day of IC, the activities are usually pretty relaxed. There are a variety of options for sightseeing. Mine was touring the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Denver.

First, we went to Boulder. We had a walking tour with members from CU Hillel and learned about Jewish life on campus. After our tour, we ate lunch at Pearl Street, an outdoor shopping mall with a bunch of restaurants in Downtown Boulder.

Next, we were on our way back to Denver for a tour of the University of Denver. For the first 10 to 15 minutes, we learned about the university and Jewish life on campus.

We concluded our day with a walking tour of the campus, as well with some chips and guacamole.

Preparing for college is crucial for me, even though I am a sophomore in high school. In my opinion, it’s great to start looking ahead of time because you are able to have a variety of choices and narrow them down.
