About Us

BBYO South Africa has been active since its reintroduction in 2020, engaging more than 150 teens throughout the year.

With thriving chapters in Cape Town and Johannesburg, the region continues to grow while offering one of the few teen-led youth experiences in South Africa. BBYO provides an inclusive platform for teens to explore Jewish identity, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful connections.

Teens connect locally through chapter life while also feeling part of a broader global community. Proudly affiliated with the South African Zionist Federation, BBYO South Africa is focused on building a strong pipeline of Jewish leadership through impactful experiences during the high school years.
