Ohio Northern Region

About Us

Ohio Northern Region (ONR) comprises chapters across Northern Ohio, bringing together more than 600 Jewish teens through 13 local chapters.

Members have opportunities to participate in local programming in their communities, as well as regional experiences such as dances, community service days, sports events, and weekend conventions. Teens can also take part in international programming through large-scale conferences and BBYO Summer Experiences.

Chapters hold events every week, all planned by teens, for teens, ranging from social activities like ice skating to programs focused on leadership development and social justice. A parent, advisor, or regional staff member is always on hand to ensure safety and health.

Fun fact: ONR’s mascot is The Cat in the Hat.
