Michigan Region

About Us

Michigan Region offers Jewish teens across the state opportunities to get involved locally and connect to the broader BBYO community.

Events are planned by teens, for teens, and programming ranges from fun activities like ice skating and camping overnights to communal Shabbat celebrations and leadership trainings. A parent, advisor, or regional staff member is always on hand to ensure safety and health.

Through youth-led and staff-supported programs, Michigan Region provides members with opportunities to develop leadership skills and positively impact their communities, the world, and themselves. The region is committed to providing more Jewish teens with meaningful Jewish experiences and helping shape the next generation of Jewish leaders.

Fun fact: Michigan’s mascot was once the Pillsbury Dough Boy before being voted to the Tiger.
