Greater Atlanta Region

About Us

Greater Atlanta Region (GAR) serves Jewish teens across the Metro Atlanta area, with 13 chapters located in Dunwoody, East Cobb, Intown, North Fulton, Sandy Springs, and Athens. Together, these chapters represent a vibrant network of Jewish teens building friendships, developing leadership skills, and creating meaningful Jewish experiences.

GAR offers a wide range of teen-led programs throughout the year, including chapter and regional events, community service opportunities, Shabbat experiences, and weekend conventions. In addition to local and regional programming, members can also participate in BBYO’s International Convention and summer experiences, connecting with thousands of Jewish teens from around the world.

Programs are planned by teens, for teens, with the support of dedicated advisors and staff who help ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Greater Atlanta Region BBYO is proud to partner with the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) to provide impactful programs and opportunities for Jewish teens across our community.

We are committed to giving more Jewish teens more meaningful Jewish experiences - helping them grow as leaders, strengthen their Jewish identity, and build friendships that last a lifetime.
