About Us

BBYO in Italy is a national Jewish youth leadership organization focused on the educational and personal development of Jewish teens. Its mission is to offer a structured, inclusive, and non-competitive leadership pathway that supports young people in building skills, values, and confidence, while respecting their individual identities and backgrounds. The leadership program is designed to complement existing youth movements, not to compete with them. Participation is open to all, and teens are encouraged to remain connected to their own communities and affiliations while engaging in a shared learning experience. Through training, experiential education, community involvement, and international connections, participants develop practical leadership tools and a strong sense of responsibility toward their communities and society as a whole. The organization serves as a space for growth, collaboration, and leadership education, where every participant is valued and leadership is understood as a skill that can be learned and practiced.
