BBYO Central America and the Caribbean brings together Jewish teens from across the region, creating a growing community rooted in connection, leadership, and Jewish life.
With representation from Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala, and additional communities across the region, BBYO Central America and the Caribbean serves as a platform for connection, collaboration, and collective growth. Established chapters include Shivar in San Salvador, El Salvador; Los Canaleros in Panama City, Panamá; and a growing community in Havana, Cuba.
Through regional conventions, leadership trainings, chapter development, and cross-community partnerships, teens are empowered to take ownership of their experiences and play an active role in shaping the future of Jewish communal life in their countries.
As a developing region, Central America and the Caribbean is defined by its entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and strong sense of community.
